Checks with Erasures will no longer be accepted starting January 4, 2016

CHOM-15-460-A-CHOM-No-15-460-on-Non-Acceptance-of-Check-with-Erasure-Alteration-and-or-Deficiency

Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC) issued advisory last September 02, 2015 indicating in details the new rules regarding check issuance.Starting January 04, 2016, all banks will no longer be able to honor checks bearing the following:

  1. Any erasure or alteration in the entries below
    • Date
    • Name of Payee
    • Amount in Figures
    • Amount in words
    • Signature/s of the drawer/s or drawer’s signatory/ies
    • Account name
    • Account number
    • Check number
    • Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) characters
  2. Any deficiency in the following entries
    • Date
    • Payee
    • Amount payable in figures
    • Amount payable in words – except for checks issued using a check writer
    • Signature/s of the drawer/s or drawer’s signatory/ies

Can’t Print Excel Files?

Can’t Print Excel Files?

Here are the steps which solve my problem:

  1. Open regedit
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> software -> Microsoft -> WindowsNT ->
  3. Here you find the three folder Devices , Printer Ports and Windows
  4. Right click on every folder and give the full permission for the user in which you show this problem
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Try printing again.

Hi Everyone!

I started blogging just to exercise my ever changing mind. I really don’t know the subject of this blog. Wish me luck.

By the way, I’m an accountant and currently employed  but my job is kinda boring. I’m in a dilemma in choosing my permanent job. I wanted to explore the world, but I don’t want my life to be wasted. I wanted a permanent job in government, but I don’t want to be stagnant in that office of oldies.
